Notes: I'm happy with the times today. I've been traveling in Europe on business for the past 2 weeks and so have had very limited pool access. The hotel pool was about 10 yards long, and so I had to do a lot of workouts using the stationary swim belt.

This is my first extended period training with the swim belt. I am impressed that I still had good feel for the water after using it for a 2-week period. Swimming with the belt is tough. Since you are swimming in one place it is much more important to generate power than it is to plane high in the water. Also, since I'm not working to maintain body position, it feels more like a weight workout than a cardiovascular one. I was able to fit in workouts on Jan 22, 23, 24 & 28th.
