Q&A with Coach Dobko

Coach Dobko will pick one of your questions each week and give you some insight into swimming. First, we need questions! E-mail your questions to duanesworlddobko@worldnet.att.net.

Tip of the Week

Most triathlon races require you to wear a timing chip around your ankle throughout the race. This timing chip causes a bit of a problem in swimming because it causes some drag in the water and can make your kick less efficient. In order to minimize any additional resistance, place the chip towards the back of your ankle, over the Achilles tendon.
